Why it matters

Make it effortless to reach you

Nobody wants to type a long address from a poster or business card. A QR code opens a new email, already addressed — people just write and hit send.

  • One scan, zero typos — the code opens the phone's email app with your address filled in.
  • Pre-fill the message — add a subject and body so enquiries arrive tidy and easy to route.
  • Works everywhere — business cards, flyers, packaging, invoices, email signatures and slides.
  • Private & instant — the code is generated in your browser and nothing is stored.

FAQ

Email QR codes, explained

How do I make a QR code for my email?

Type the recipient address in the generator above — that's all you need. Optionally add a subject and message so the email is pre-filled. Style the colors, shapes and center icon if you like, then download it as PNG or SVG.

What happens when someone scans it?

Their phone opens a new email in its default mail app, already addressed to you — with the subject and message filled in if you added them. They just type any extra text and hit send.

Can I pre-fill the subject and message?

Yes. Fill in the optional Subject and Message fields and they'll be built into the code. This is great for support or enquiry codes, so messages arrive already labelled and easy to sort.

Does the email send automatically?

No — and that's by design. The code opens a draft in the person's own email app so they can review and edit it before sending. It never sends anything on its own.

Is this email QR code generator really free?

Yes — completely. No sign-up, no watermark, no scan limits and no expiry on the code. You can create and download as many as you want, for personal or commercial use.

Will it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Both open the code straight from the camera and launch the default mail app. It also works with any standard QR scanner app.

Can I use my own logo instead of the email icon?

Yes. In the Center icon control, choose the upload option and add a PNG or SVG of your logo — transparent backgrounds look best. The generator automatically raises the error-correction level so the code stays reliably scannable.

PNG or SVG — which should I download?

PNG (2048px) is perfect for screens, social and most everyday prints. SVG is a vector file that stays perfectly sharp at any size — choose it for business cards, posters or professional printing.
