Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using BestQR, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service.

These terms apply to everyone who uses BestQR, whether for personal projects or commercial work.

The service

BestQR is a free, browser-based tool for generating customizable QR codes. Everything runs locally in your browser — there are no accounts, and we don't store the contents of your codes.

  • The service is provided at no cost, with no usage limits or watermarks.
  • We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time without notice.
  • Availability isn't guaranteed — the tool may occasionally be unreachable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.

Acceptable use

You're responsible for the QR codes you create and how you use them. You agree not to use BestQR to:

  • Create codes that link to malware, phishing, or fraudulent content.
  • Distribute illegal content or material that infringes others' rights.
  • Mislead or deceive people about where a code leads.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its infrastructure.
A QR code is just an encoded link or text. You are solely responsible for the destination and content of every code you generate and share.

Your codes & ownership

The QR codes you create with BestQR are yours. You may use, download, print, and distribute them freely — including for commercial purposes — with no attribution required.

We claim no ownership over the content you encode or the codes you generate. Any logos or images you add remain your property and responsibility.

BestQR's intellectual property

While your codes are yours, the BestQR name, branding, interface design, and underlying code belong to us and are protected by applicable laws. These terms don't grant you any right to copy, rebrand, or redistribute the BestQR application itself.

No warranty

BestQR is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated codes will be suitable for every purpose.

You're responsible for testing your QR codes before publishing or printing them at scale to confirm they scan correctly in your intended context.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BestQR and its creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including losses related to codes that fail to scan, broken links, or printing costs.

Since BestQR is a free tool, your sole remedy for any dissatisfaction is to stop using it.

Changes & contact

We may revise these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use BestQR after changes means you accept the revised terms.
