How it works

From Google Play link to QR code in seconds

No account, no app, nothing to install — the whole tool runs right here in your browser.

01

Copy your app link

Find your app on Google Play, tap Share and copy the link — or grab it from the Play Console. Paste it into the generator.

02

Style it your way

The QR code appears instantly. Pick your brand colors, background, dot shapes and corners, or drop your app icon in the center.

03

Download & share

Export a crisp 2048px PNG for screens and social, or a vector SVG that stays sharp at any print size — both free, both watermark-free.

Why it matters

Cut the path from poster to install

Searching Google Play means typing your app's name, wading through results and hoping people pick the right one. A QR code takes them straight to your listing.

  • One scan to the listing — the code opens your app page directly on Google Play, ready to install.
  • No misspelled searches — no lookalike apps, no wrong results, no lost installs to a competitor.
  • Works everywhere — posters, packaging, business cards, event booths, slides and TV screens.
  • Never expires — the code is static and points straight to your Google Play URL, so it works as long as your app is live.

Where to use it

One code, more downloads everywhere

Put your Google Play QR code anywhere people have their phone in hand — every scan is one tap from an install.

FAQ

Google Play QR codes, explained

How do I make a QR code for my Google Play app?

Open your app on Google Play, tap the Share button and copy the link (it looks like play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=…). Paste it into the generator above and the code is created instantly. Style the colors, shapes and center icon if you like, then download it as PNG or SVG.

Where do I find my app's Google Play link?

On an Android phone, open your app in the Play Store, tap Share, then copy the link. On a computer, find the app at play.google.com and copy the address from the browser. In the Google Play Console the URL is shown on your app's dashboard too.

Is this Google Play QR code generator really free?

Yes — completely. No sign-up, no watermark, no scan limits and no expiry. You can create and download as many codes as you want, for personal or commercial use.

What happens when someone scans the code?

Their Android phone opens your listing in the Play Store, ready to install with one tap. On iPhone or desktop the link opens in the browser and shows your app's web page.

Can I make one code for both Google Play and the App Store?

A single static QR points to one link, so the cleanest approach is a code for each store placed side by side — one from this tool and one from our App Store tool. If you prefer a single code, link it to a landing page that sends each visitor to the right store.

Can I use my app icon instead of the Google Play logo?

Yes. In the Center icon control, choose the upload option and add a PNG or SVG of your app icon — transparent backgrounds look best. The generator automatically raises the error-correction level so the code stays reliably scannable.

Is a custom-colored code still scannable?

Yes, as long as there's strong contrast between the code and its background — dark or vivid dots on a light background work best. Always test with your phone camera before sending anything to print.

PNG or SVG — which should I download?

PNG (2048px) is perfect for screens, social posts and most everyday prints. SVG is a vector file that stays perfectly sharp at any size — choose it for posters, signage, packaging or professional printing.
